Parody Song Title:

"His Wife Had No Name"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

this was inspired by AFW's fine sodom and gomorrah parody from the other day
guess the worst part of god's fury
was his takin' out all the life
gone were plants and birds and rotten men
who were bound like hell to sin
the first town he wrecked wasn't righteous enough
so he wiped...the whole crowd
the heat was hot...and they wound up fried
then the air was void of sound

i've heard lot was mentioned
but his wife had no name
to just leave her right out seems insane
lot gets mentioned...we can't remember her name
and there ain't no one who can really explain
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah

after two days, sinners got well-done
their skin began to turn red
after three days, of their father's "fun"
they were cookin' in a furnace bed
and the story is told, how ol' lot got paroled
but his gal looked back, now, she's dead

you see...
i've heard lot was mentioned
but his wife had no name
to just leave her right out seems insane
lot gets mentioned...we can't remember her name
and there ain't no one who can really explain
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah

as a gesture, god let ol' lot run free
but his damsel had turned to see
she was zapped, i've heard, and turned to sand
which was blown away by wind
the village soon was leveled
and no life could be found
it was cursed by the guy above
he burned the city...left but one guy around
cause most humans, he'd ceased to love

you see...
i've heard lot was mentioned
but his wife had no name
to just leave her right out seems insane
lot gets mentioned...we can't remember her name
and there ain't no one who can really explain
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah
nah nah...nah...nah nah nah nah...nah nah nah...nah...nah

You're gonna get a lot of fives. So, we've got the first two parts of the trilogy: S&G destroyed, and Lot survives but his wife doesn't. Who's got the guts to try Part III, Lot & his daughters? Just remember: As far as they could tell, they were the only people left on Earth, so it's not like they did it for the same reason as the people in redneck jokes.

The moral: Don't Look Back, great film, BTW. Nice job of combining desert locales.

Wow! Alvin this one was fantastic! I'd be willing to tackle pt. III if I could think of a good vehicle...maybe Cat Stevens' "Father and Sin"... hee hee.
