Parody Song Title:

"One Ring Is Molten"

Parody Written by:

The Comedian

The Lyrics

One Ring is molten
Now it's un-forming

Mount Doom is joltin'
'tis the Ring's tomb

Praise for the Halfling
Praise with rejoicing

Praise Gondor's sapling
Fresh from the Earth

Sauron is falling
Barad-Dur's broken

Future is calling
All Middle-Earth

To a new age of
Blessings unspoken

Elves are departing
Men show their worth

Bilbo and Frodo
Weary Ring-Bearers

Westward with Elves go
For peace at last

Healing is certain
They sail together

Back rolls tears' curtain
Like silver glass

Not much of a Rings fan but this was well executed.

Three fives for the send-up king, wonderful try... Seriously though, this parody was gracefully and simply done...touching compared to some of the LotR-themed rewrites I've seen here. Bravo!

Thanks very much, Philbo, Kristof, Guy, Ingeborg, Dee, 2nz, pickle, Paul, Alvin, and Stuart. Dee - I watched your Red Sox flash cartoon - frikkin' hilarious, dude! I especially got a chuckle from seeing Steinbrenner's talking-head show up where A-Fraud's heart was not! LOL!

Tolkeinians and Red Sox fans can both kiss my Astroturf. But I'm not bitter. Really.
