Talented Roy would swim like a seal
Jump down a slide, ride a bike with one wheel
Madame Christine, the sweet little one
Did her acrobatics
And with cannon shot Tim 'cross the proscenium

We got ol' P.T. Barnum feelin' down, so jealous

Also played for the high folks wearing crowns
We didn't need no clowns

Then one day in Lincoln, NE we caught hell
With a pooch, cramped our style
Three hours later, Mitzy got in trouble
The Health Department stood us to triallll...uh-huhhhh
Didn't dig Flea Circus Stylllle...nuh-uh!

Yes, 'twas quite the time, yes, just so long ago
They'd whoop for the chance to see our lil' old show
We'd come around the neighborhood
Some of them was hostile, yeah some people never understood
