The Lyrics

And All That Gas.
Methane will carry from my hips,
It's gonna be caustic!
When I'm wind-breaking, let one rip,
It's gonna be toxic!

I'm gonna reek worse than leprosy.
Eat beans, with curried peppers and prunes.
You're gonna all despise my thighs,
From there excretes my putrid fumes!

I'll pass an aromatic spice,
More pungent than dog sick!
Excessive odour, rotten starch.
I'll flatulate here without shame!
And light my gas with naked flame!

Noxious farts!
(...flies?)

[Guys:]
The elevator's stuck?
Oh, f***!
This girl's an un-

[Roxie:]
-blocked chick!
Stinks are a lot o' laughs,
A lark!
'Smells like tuna!'

[Guys:]
Duck, quick!

[Roxie:]
So vile, my rear,
With it's wafting gear!
It's flowing all day like toxic waste!

[Guys:]
Here a stink, there a stink,
Everywhere a frickin' stink!

[Roxie:]
It's always a disgusting haze!

(spoken)
Mmmm, what a fart!
Isn't flatulence lovely?
When I'm fluffin',
Friends, they loathe me for smothering them,
And I laugh then and fart away,
And they run for cover and cause a fuss,
Cuz I just get too much starch from my Thai food!

A fart opus?
Split!

[Guys:]
Her rectum causes bum-pump strife!

[Roxie:]
It's gonna be... stink it!

[Guys:]
...shocking!
She'll make a redolence so tart!

[Roxie:]
A grody f***er,
One whiff and... oh!
You'll quickly faint when my wind blows!

Noxious farts!

[Guys:]
Toxic...
Caustic...
Noxious...
Shocking...
Toxic...
Caustic...
Yuck! Sick!...
Noxious...

...

*brrrrrrpppppp!*

DKTOS, but I 555d it anyway, funny gross. This was the one song that they didn't have on musicgalore.net.

No, Stu, I haven't finished your biography yet! *ducks*
Thanks, Step-chan. That musicgalore site looks mighty nifty.

(SOTM) I've seen the movie twice, but the tune escapes me. Nonetheless, knowing the context of Renee Zewellger (sp?) possibly singing this caused me to smile. I like how you added comments from the men's chorus and switched back and forth from both voices.

SOTM - I'm coming up blank when searching for the OS, but there sure was some bum-pumping stuff in this one.

(SOTM) Impressive fart parody that would give even PL a "run" for her (his?) money. Sulfides are what give farts their odor though, not methane. Pooting that ass-ide for a mo(ve)ment, this was a great read. Its like Terrance and Phillip on steroids, with raw broccoli, cabbage and hard-boiled eggs thrown in for extra "flavor".

SOTM - this is so wrong on so many levels. But in a good way. I think.

(SOTM) - the thing with your parodies Luke, is that I can just see you enjoying yourself as you're writing them (in a clean and innocent meaning of the expression of course) - but I have an issue with your last word - surely there should be two 'r' s for every one 'p' - unless my ears have been deceiving me, or unless they come out differently in New South Wales - and no better movie to set a fart parody to than Chicago - nice work

(SOTM) There are quite a phew phart parodies on AmiRight, but not as many as redolent as this!

(SOTM) Ah, a well-written fart parody from the movie named after the Windy City! As Stu mentioned above, I too can just see your impish smile as you were creating this funny parody. 555

SOTM - This one seems a little ripe.

I'm looking forward to Broadway's "FART: The Musical" by Luke Brattoni. I would pay good money to see that. On TV. At home. Next to my air filter.

I think I was 8 or 9 when a friend pointed out that sights and sounds are waves, but smells are particles. That bit of knowledge haunts me every time someone lets one go in an elevator or airplane.

SOTM...I promise that this disgusted look on my face has nothing to do with your writing, Luke...; ) I'm laughing in spite of myself...

Fart parodies are disgusting, and I'm thinking of banning them from the SOTM. Right after next month, when I enter mine. Actually, I DKTOS but you get the benefit of a doubt on many clever matches throughout anyway. Plus, your "fart sound" at the end was better than the one I came up with so bonus.

So are you going to follow up with an "And all that gas" parody? With a fair wind behind you, you'll be blown half-way there before you know it...
Scathe - November 28, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I think I can safely say that i've never heard so many puns and lines about flatulence in my life.

(SOTM) I gotta do me a parody of a Chicago (the musical, not the band) OS...this was fun, fun, fun! 555

SOTM. I had a girlfriend in LA when I was younger, who disappeared for a couple days and came back with lots of cash. Several years later, I saw her spread-eagled naked in a nudie mag, with a brrrrppppppp sound coming from her butt!!. This parody reminded me of that, and made me laugh my ass off. Good job.
Ethan Mawyer - December 01, 2005 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I didn't really find this funny at all, sorry. And it's not as impressive in the wordplay/song difficulty department as most of your work. But other people seem to like it, so you must be doing something right.
