Parody Song Title:

"A Dyslexic I Am"

Parody Written by:

Susanna Viljanen

The Lyrics

I booked a trip to Illinois
Found myself down at Boise -
Some misunderstanding with the spelling got me in that jam
I wrote to airline service
I got them all too nervous -
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am

I wrote my dear in London
"I want to be near you, hon"
But I never got an answer, and alone was this madam
I got reply from another man
its address, did read Birmingham
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am

The IRS keeps chasing me to fill up all those forms
But when I fill them they are not amused -
I almost joined Marine Corps
when I filled up a wrong form
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am

When my earthly race is over
and Heaven-wards I'll hover
I will see St. Peter standing at the pearly gates
If my name's not in that Big Book
I'll yell "Now have a good look -
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am!"

The IRS keeps chasing me to fill up all those forms
But when I fill them they are not amused -
I almost joined Marine Corps
when I filled up a wrong form
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am

When my earthly race is over
and Heaven-wards I'll hover
I will see St. Peter standing at the pearly gates
If my name's not in that Big Book
I'll yell "Now have a good look -
Yes, yes, yes, a dyslexic I am!"

Fortunately, I am NOT dyslexic -- so you get a five instead of a one!
