Parody Song Title:

"Typhoons Rising"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

pretty obvious really............
I see a world typhoon a risin'
I see turbulence on the way
I see weather storms it's frightenin'
Take heed the world is going astray

Preserve the world alright?
Or we might not have much life
Global warmin' is on the rise

We see Katrina is a blowin'
Increase in Pacific typhoons
In Cornwall the rivers are overflowin'
We gotta face up to what we're doin'

Take care of our planet, alright?
We must try with all our might
Our kids'll not see a thing in sight
Not right!

We gotta get our act together
Or our planet's gonna die
We're already facing nasty weather
A storm's supposed to have an eye

An eye for an eye aint right
We're all left without sight
And the world will just go blind

An eye for an eye aint right
We're all left without sight
And the world will just go blind

I see lying Greens arising.
I see raving devotees.
I see fewer storms this season.
Than we had in the seventies.

Don't believe Green guys
Or their disgusting lies.
Global Warming's pseudoscience.

Thanks for votes and comments. I wish, as CCR says above - that it was "pseudoscience" - Im no way a raving devotee either but one only has to observe what is happening weather wise on the news globally to realise that something IS going on..... Living on the relatively small island that is Britain we are seeing our coastline literally disappear before our eyes at a faster and faster rate than ever before - not a theory or a lie but a fact.

Global warming doesn't increase the number of hurricanes, it increases the intensity of the hurricanes that do come.

All kinds of wacko weather causing all kinds of damage... and when will Our Fearless Appointed Wartime Leader With a Purpose get wind of it?

Just FYI, Michael 'Jurassic Park' Crichton, in his new book, State of Fear (No 2 in the bestseller charts) doesn't believe in Global Warming at all, and cites loads of genuine references from real scientists to back himself up. I'm still not convinced he's right but he does show - and I do agree with him here - that the need is for real science to examine perhaps the most complex subject on Earth, and less of either 'band-wagoning' or 'head-in-the-sand' denial that so overwhelms sensible discussion of what could be a terminally important topic.
