Parody Song Title:

"Demitasse Joe"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Demitasse “Joe”—I’m havin’ fun with semantics. . .
Clown with lexical antics; I’ll show you how.
It isn’t smart puns—
On double meanings I’m seizin’;
I hope I’m not teasin’ you;
It’s harmless, I vow.

“Joe” can draw two meanings: one’s a boy
Who’s seated at the table.
From his cup the heat darts, from espresso that’s wet.

What is pleasing in the china thing
Is tinged with hues of sable;
Some sip it mornings, while they watch the TV set.

Demitasse Joe, go slow or you’ll get a tongue burn;
The pain makes your tongue turn; it’s fried, and you’ll moan.
It’s heated, so heated—well, that gets some people squawkin’;
Don’t sip, son, be balkin’; then you won’t hurt and groan.

If it gets too cold, it’s microwave time—
Don’t get too bold and cross the temp line. . .
I’ve hardly remembered; there’s this to say:
A letter can be high or low:
Uppercase J, man, lowercase, just café.

“Dense espresso” is one of the word “Joe”’s senses,
The other a gent is, named Joe, who can’t wait
To start a-drainin’ overcaffeinated love brew.
He’s gonna wet his gullet, shove through
That pour that’s too great!

Nicely done. Great title (unique way to rhyme desperado) and rhymes and pacing throughout.

John - I put my instant Joe into the microwave oven once and I nearly went back to the future. But you ain't had no Joe until you've had Gi Joe - and don't get any cute ideas - I'm talking about chow hall coffee here now.

I like this OS and I like what you did with it. I've done this OS in parody myself - it has unlimited possibilities as the OS lyrics are written.

Hey, Joe where you goin' with that cup in your hand?

The name "Joe" has many uses. I would be more than happy to have a cup of "joe" with an average "Joe" every other day! Every different joe's really perks me up in the morning! Here's another parody written by an average Joe....or John! 555!
