Original Song Title:

"Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)"

Original Performer:

Edison Lighthouse

Parody Song Title:

"Stuffed Crows (Served with Savory Loaves)"

Parody Written by:

Merry & Pippin

The Lyrics

Polecat guts with honey
Squirr'l stews are kinda runny
Try hare with olive oil and ghee

Oh 'cus stuffed crows served on savory loaves
Are found on the road for free

Grey fox skinned and braise-éd
Steeped blue jays with maize-y
Tender gopher lips and knees

Live for stuffed crows served on savory loaves
They're found on the road
Fo-o-o-or free

There 'possums abound with squashed porcupine
Rabbit peelings with thyme
Sizzlin' on baking trays
Hey!
You merely take a tragic road-kill
And do cookin' with skill
And you don't gotta pay-ay!

If it's yucky yellow
And it's musty to smella
Just add saffron gen'rously

Because stuffed crows served on savory loaves
Are found on the road
Fo-o-o-or free!

There's dumplings a-baked with flat moles in lime
Rats congealing in wine
And a muskrat soufflé
Hey!
You merely take a tragic road-kill
Blend in starch and some dill
And you don't gotta pay-ay!

Over food I dwell-a
But stomach does rebel-a
Headed for endoscopy

Because stuffed crows served on savory loaves
Are found on the road
Fo-o-o-or free!

(fade out lyrics):

Parts of does and rattlesnakes rolled thin
Are found on the road for free
With some batter, and put on a platter
More savory crows. Oh please!

So that's where my D-hall food comes from. good job... i gave you three fives despite a couple of minor 'postrophe abuses

Ethan, believe me, so far as this song is concerned with 'postrophes, there is a behind the scenes story that would rock the parody world - blood was nearly spilt (spilled)!!!
