The Lyrics

He was tired of France louts—frankly, wanted out, Gauguin.
So he planned to head down where isles are found…goin’.

Said “goodbye,” couldn’t fly, ship nearby caught wind.

He’d kind of abused van Gogh and made good use of him.
Onto Paul Vince glommed, and sometimes he fawned on him.

Paul said, “Fie on this guy, so bye-bye”…gone, skipped.

After he had gone, Vince had just one ear on. He’d snipped.
Vincent was ear-hacked, but Gauguin was shacked up in

tropic isles; paints in style he’s all smiles…women!
Vince was high…turpentine. 45* got him.
