The Lyrics

Yesterday (8-11-14) was a very sad day for everybody all over the world. We lost of of the best actors, comedians and people out there. He committed suicide because he was dealing with depression which goes to show you it doesn't matter how wealthy or well-liked and beloved you are you can always have problems deep inside of your soul. I was lucky enough to have met him before and shared a few nice words with him. He was always happy to come out and meet his fans and he was a hell of a guy. He will really be missed and here's just a little tribute to a great man...
Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Hee-hee-hee-hee

Once made us crack up now he's gone
Cryin', Nerves are fryin' it's his jokes we all want
See him play the Genie for Walt Disney
Voices done by Robin aren't beat, beat, beat

Shockin' Robin
Shocked, shocked
Shockin' Robin

So shockin' Robin
Cause we are all in such shock he died

Followed all his stand up, Watched all his movies
From "One Hour Photo" to "Jumanji"
Won't see him scowl his great grin grows
Deep down inside he's a depressed soul

Mockin' Robin
Mock, mock
Mockin' Robin

Not Mockin' Robin
But he really loved to mock you guys
Yeah, yeah

We loved him as Patch Adams he's that red-nosed man
See him as Popeye, Doubtfire and Peter Pan
Was always really funny and nice to all
Filled us with such laughter now he makes us bawl

I must give him mad props his skills were strong
Now our jaws are dropping as he bid us "So long"
Only in his sixties and his life's complete
I'm glad that I met Robin he's sweet, sweet, sweet

Knockin' Robin
Knock, knock
Knockin' Robin

Not Knockin' Robin
But he really loved to knock you guys
Yeah, yeah

His daughter's name is Zelda, He's my kind of man
He worked the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland
Got big from Mork and Mindy: "Nanu Nanu"
Didn't know he suffered but the great ones do

Robin couldn't be topped made us bust a gut
Chatting had us laughing when we're down in the dumps
We loved him in Flubber, Good Will Hunting
Birdcage held the Robin, A treat, treat, treat

Flocked to Robin
Flock, flock
Flocked to Robin

We flocked to Robin
We're the members of his flock for life

Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Giggily-giggily-glee, Giggily, giggily...
Hee-hee

There's a couple of errors that I see here one is that it should be "voices weren't beat, beat, beat" and the other is that I should of gotten rid of the "all" in the line "we are all in such shock he died" for pacing purposes

Nicely done, especially with such an upbeat song choice. His HBO specials, if nothing else, will be what I remember and cherish the most.

it's an awful thing that Mr. Williams is gone so soon but I'm glad you got the chance to meet him I would've loved to have had that chance... 5's on a funnier note many years ago I used to think this particular version of the original song was sung by a woman! no lie!

I did "Nano-Nano Man" back in 2007, but it wasn't one of my better efforts.

He was a great actor but I think that maybe he was an even better stand-up comedian, they once broadcasted an one and a half hour long show of his in the 90s here in Sweden and I was laughing so much that I litterary couldn't sit up straight for more than mere seconds.

George Carlin wrote books that made it over here, does anyone of you know if Robin Williams wrote something like that?

What a quirky, gifted comedian.....His British Nanny slayed me......Your fine work has brought back many memories of his great career here on Earth....Kudos

Losing Robin Williams is like losing a friend or family member. I still can't quite believe he's gone. Celebrity deaths don't usually phase me, but Robin Williams was a huge part of my childhood. He may have actually BEEN my childhood. I can't tell you how many times I used to watch Aladdin or, especially, Mrs. Doubtfire on VHS. I will always associate "Dude Looks Like a Lady" with Mrs. Doubtfire. Robin was like pizza; everybody loved him. He was also like Highlander; there can only be one. 555
