I’ve been rapped, causing pain, hit with many blows.
A skunk, I’m shifty, but on I go.
And I’m still griftin’.

I have conned many shmoes with great delight,
but sometimes I got hassled, caught, got into fights.
Malice…a mauled phallus.

I have pulled off some smooth cons on dupes unwary—
many fleeced wherever I’ve gone.
Lifted lots of money from folks that have just been paid,
filched many cash loads from suckers that I’ve played.

But I get beat up some times,
though I pay it no mind.
It’s on griftin’ that I’m groovin’.

Hell, I’ve been kicked in the shins, arms have been beat,
had my hands broken, but I don’t sound retreat.
And I’m still griftin’.

I’ve been druggin’ some folks then filchin’ their dough,
taken a bunch and yet want mo’, a whole bunch mo’.
I have ill will.

I have conned from Yukon down to Miami;
many fleeced where I take my pawns.
Rakin’ in lots o’ dough; some folks perceived my play…
got many whacks, loads, but I’m still on my way.

Though I get beat up some times,
for my larcenous crimes. I’m still griftin’ after bruisin’.
