Well, it looks like many of us have a had visit from the "1"-derer, whoever that might be. It's always a bit annoying at first to check on your work and see a "1-1-1" when all the other scores are good ones. So it's annoying, but really it shouldn't be much more than that. I've been hit often enough now, I can handle it. Wish that my biggest problem in the world, you know? But I like to play, too. I figure I've posted about 75 parodies here and written more than that. The "1"-derer? I don't see any postings for him(or her) so I guess this person is not capable of putting one together. So he played his game, now I'll play mine. Enjoy the read, "Solitary Man".

Alvin - Thanks! Glad it resonated. Adagio - well, that's possible but my guess is "no", since by doing so he would prove my point here, plus it would invite me to write another. You know, I'm not seeking him out but I will respond on occasion. But we shall see...
People talk about "the one's guy" as if he's the boogieman. I'm sure it's many people that come and go who either A. Don't like the subject or parodies in general. B. Don't like us making fun of their favorite artist. C. Are like a disgruntled employee, upset because no one read their song. D Just want to exert what little power this world gives them. I still say as I always have, getting ones is like getting fifth place in a race. At least someone noticed.
Rick - for the most part I agree. I don't think every "1-1-1" score is the same person, but on somedays it may be. And the best thing to do probably is to shrug it off. But as much as it is NOT a big deal, I still like to poke back once in a while - I figure people that dish things out should expect to get some back now and then, especially if it looks like somebody is blanketing a number of people's work with them. Actually I used the "ones" yesterday to motivate me to write something today, and this was kind of a warm-up exercise to get started. My creative juices were a little low after the "Thumb" thing ended.
