The Lyrics

So he's just a little coy (he's just a little coy)
Makes the devil himself look tame (he's just a little coy)
I say "now who do, who do you think you're fooling? (he's just a little coy)
Had a decorated ploy (decorated ploy)
Shrapnel finger by a frag spray liar,
Thinks Osama's naughty, he's naughty.
He thinks he can appease, this bugs me,
Like he bugs me 'bout Iraq,
He shocks me 'bout Iraq, he rages, he shocks me.
He shocks me, shocks me, shocks me, shocks me.

Now he groans about Iran (groans about Iran)
And he wants them burned in flame (groans about Iran)
I say there yoo-hoo?
How did you make this ruling? (groans about Iran)
He's a convoluted man (groans about Iran)
Thinkin' of our security,
Osam-a-raqi, what that be?
He thinks he can appease, this bugs me,
Like he bugs me 'bout Iraq
He shocks me 'bout Iraq, he rages, he shocks me.
He shocks me, shocks me, shocks me, shocks me.

And if he was the President (was the President)
All trouble Congress be the blame (was the President)
He'd say now who do, who do you think is ruling?
(Who do you think is ruling?)

He does his presidental spiel,
Could use some industrial imodium,
Osama's naughty, he's naughty.
To think he can appease, it's ugly.
Like he bugs me 'bout Iraq,
He shocks me 'bout Iraq, he rages, he shocks me.

He bugs me, bugs me, bugs me, bugs me,
(Bugs me 'bout Iraq)

Wow! Incredibly brilliant rhyme and pacing, Guy. Awesome rhyming to the original song......"groans about Iran" for "grown to be a man" for example.....great job!

Yes - it IS that simple - Osama's naughty - case closed! - good one Guy - 555

Great rhymes, pacing, and plays on the original lyrics--the text is awkward in a couple of places, but enough to knock a point off the score. 5-5-5.

Great word play in getting the message across. 5's

Considering that Kerry was the one willing to mention bin Laden during the debates -- teaching Georgie that he was the one who attacked us, not Saddam -- I'd say this parody is about as off-base as, well, Alex Rodriguez. Some right-winger you are, Guy: Bush only wants to DEFEAT the terrorists. Kerry keeps saying he wants to KILL THEM. Which one is the tough Texas conservative, and which one is the wishy-washy Massachusetts liberal? Why, Kerry even knows WHICH one to kill first! Bush doesn't!

Michael - Did I forget to mention John Kerry's name in this parody? Gee, who could it be now?

You mean this isn't about Kerry? Must have been the day I wasn't here to vote.
John Kerry - October 22, 2004 - Report this comment
That's OK, I never liked to vote either. I promise I'll do much better if elected because vote spelled sideways is veto. heh, heh.

Excellent parody, Guy. I agree with Johnny D, and I particularly liked the imodium line. Some of Senator Kerry's criticisms of President Bush, such as not capturing bin Laden, might be valid. But, when Kerry keeps saying that he can do better and one examines his voting record, there is nothing there to inspire confidence.
