"Money"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Pink Floyd

Parody Song Title:

"Munnee?"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

The Lyrics

Money, what is that?
Stuff your wallet with tissue and make it fat
Money, went for gas
Grab that pump with both hands and make it splash
old car, won't go far, got a daydream
Life's a bowl of cherries and cream
Money, what's that?
Paper with faces of guys from way back
Money, have a fit
It's just something that everyone's gotta git
I'm in the low totem pole social set
no, I ain't made the big time yet

Money, ain't a crime
But the lusting for it just might make you slime
Money, takes the rap
But the love of it is the real trap
And if you live for greed it's no surprise that your
Soul just might bleed

Spoken:
Uh-huh! There's the stack
yes, absolutely it's a stack
The bills are piled certainly high
Looks like they turned off the satellite TV
Boy, they don't waste any time
Did you pay the electric?
Maybe you'd have more money if you didn't drink
and smoke all the time
I was just going out, we need some bread
and some food for the dog, and paper towels and coffee...

Will you take a check for these three "5's", Royce? I spent all my cash at the gas station a couple minutes ago...clever and funny ~ ~ ~

It's like it's the "missing verses" of Waters' original composition. Didn't change much of the original intent I suppose, but that's cool. 555

Agrimorfee: thanks for your really positive comment; don't get many like that. I think that's why I like Pink Floyd in the first place. I find their terminology very interesting. I didn't know what I was missing when I didn't know Pink Floyd songs. After I took notice of them, I thought wow, wow wow.
