The Lyrics

My continued delight with Wendy Christopher's Lord Of The Rings series brings forth yet another LOTR tribute. ;D

Army of The Dead - fills its foes with dread.
Dunharrow's ghastly horde - will battle the Dark Lord.
Only one can bring their cure - the Heir of Isildur.
Army of The Dead.

In the mist they're coming now. Oathbreakers now fulfill their vow,
With Aragorn himself - (and) Legolas the Elf.
They will join in the attacks - with Gimli's deadly ax.
Hear them coming now.

Soon the fleet of the Corsairs - are gonna get some awful scares.
Ghostly horns will blow - spectral banners glow.
But will the weapons bite? No need - they'll die of fright.
Death to the Corsairs.

Tale must be believed. Gondor was relieved.
Now each and ev'ry ghoul - his debt is paid in full.
And with Aragorn's release - the Dead now rest in peace.
Army of The Dead.

Aragorn had led - Army of The Dead.
Hail the Shadow Host! Man cannot fight ghost.

Now where did I leave Arwen's banner? ;D

I'm loving this one - I might be doing a sugary-pop, Generation YouTube version of LOTR, but you're definitely doing the Cool Version, Ribber ;^D Perfect OS that really enhances some great storytelling - a definite 555.

Finally! .. an OMROS (Old Man Ribber Original Song) that I recognize. I hold your jest fulfilled! BTW, Wendy is right; this is a good OS for this purpose. I did a very similar parody called "Riders of Rohan" a short while ago. You might have missed it during your one year sabbatical

You're so good at these. It's such an evocative, haunting motif for your topic and your Tolkienianian (?) brushstrokes are spot-on. More more.
