The Lyrics

Confessions of a Beatles' groupie....
Last night I didn't get to sleep with Paul, no no
I stayed awake and stalked him 'til the morning light
Bodyguards were always round him snug and tight (snug and tight)

Years back - I got to Ringo - yeah I did did did
But he was just a mere tidbit - I lost a bet
Too late to pursue Lennon 'cus he's cold and dead
And last night I didn't get to sleep with Paul

I know it's not my fault; I did Pete Best
I tried for Harrison, but I confess
That more and more that lore of Krishna was a bore
And George has now left for subspace (subspace)

Oh, last night I didn't get to sleep with Paul, no no
The party I was at was just a waste of time
I couldn't talk to him 'cus there was a long line
And last night I didn't get to sleep, didn't get to sleep
No I didn't get to sleep with Paul

(instrumental break)

But more and more I find I've bonked him in my mind
He's even sat right down on my face...

But last night I didn't get to sleep with Paul, no no
But dreamin' will I wear him out before half-time
I cannot doze tonight 'cus he's still on my mind

And last night I didn't get to sleep, didn't get to sleep
No, I didn't get to sleep with Paul

No, no, no
No, no, no

No, last night I didn't get to sleep with Paul, no no
Last night I didn't sleep with Paul, oh oh

Well, I was drawn to this from seeing the title on your "Authors" page. Another moth to the flame, eh? (Sigh...) Sometimes that how things work out (or fail to work out, whatever). Yes, sometimes one needs blockage of the morning light but there's no one there (or, um. the wrong one there if things are really off kilter for you).

Watchoo talkin' bout Willis? What are you smokin up there? I had this sent sent to the FBI for analysis, but they sent it back saying their heiroglyphics expert took one look at it and resigned.....

Peregrin, Beats the hell out of me, that was 5 or so days ago. It had something to do with my first name being in the title and not getting to sleep with someone. Maybe it's like speaking French to Gomez Adams, drives me crazy...

(By the way, Peregrin -- cute sumo ref. above)
