Parody Song Title:

"We Are Just Writers on the Site Amiright"

Parody Written by:

Merry & Pippin

The Lyrics

We were just wand'ring on the world of the Web
Seeking some entertainment
Then we found parodies
And now because we're full of so many words
Here we can be outspoken
Now we've found the key

And now we want the piles of votes to grow around us
And we are hopin' for those fives just to flow
Please vote this!
We are just writers on the site Amiright

Ten thousand parodies are here on this site
'Bout food and computers
And even 'bout pee
Some always leaning to the left or the right
Tong and Pach always argue
With Royce, Rice and Daddy

And now we want the piles of votes to grow around us
And we are hopin' for those fives just to flow
Please vote this!
We are just writers on the site Amiright

Here they all take a stand
Clever songs by Tone-Def
And Syncronos
Who are far overreaching themselves
And you will see many by Jim A
And by Phil and by STG that are
Making us laugh
Making us laugh

They're all just gath'ring right here at Chucky's site
And their imaginations
Are just reaching the sky
And though they write things that are really absurd
If it needs to be spoken
Malcolm's sure to comply

And we just like to read the bros Florios' funny lines
And there's the Ghetto John and Pooch and Bobo
They write 'em
We are just writers on the site Amiright

We are just writers on the site Amiright

I think we understand
Strategies like this one
Where we're only
Just shamelessly promoting ourselves
And if we mention enough writers
In this parody we guarantee we're
Getting their votes!
Getting their votes!

John Harvey is another one defending the left
Now Claude Prez is so funny
And Jonathon C.

We are just writers on the site Amiright
We are just writers on the site Amiright

Hey My Name is Kenny fits so well in this verse
And we don't forget Bubba
And Jeremy

We are just writers on the site Amiright
We're all just writers on the site Amiright

Oh shoot, I think the sexual harassment police are coming to my door...I mean ladies, of course lol
Meriadoc - April 28, 2003 - Report this comment
I am still laughing, Billy! What makes you think we are ladies? :-D
John Harvey - April 28, 2003 - Report this comment
Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took were male characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings". I'm pretty sure the Merry and Pippen here are male as well. You might want to grab a napkin, you got a little egg on your face there. ;)

Quite a bit of egg.....I assumed Merry and Pippen were female names (this is what I get for being too cool to give a damn about LOTR lol)...Im sorry you guys...I dont know..I just assumed that you two were female....oh man....I need to rethink my manhood now...only kidding...oh man..Im really sorry guys.....hides in corner now for reasons completely unrelated to sexual harrassment police lol

Don't forget - everyone thought Royce Miller was a guy too, and look how that turned out! Things may not be as they seem.....
Mike Florio - April 29, 2003 - Report this comment
Royce Miller is not a guy? anyway...good parody...well done! and Please forgive my brother

Merry & Pippin, thanks for mentioning me in your parody; I also want to say I appreciate your positive attitudes--it doesn't really do any good for people to get upset at each other, I know I've been guilty of it a time or two; it doesn't accomplish anything. If another person's comments or words anger me, I need to forget it--it's a lesson not easily learned. But you set a good example.

Good song guys. I mean gals. I mean hobbits! You mentioned Pee, that's good enough for me!

Hey, this one's a gem! Smooth-flowing, well-paced, and warm-hearted ! I'm a major Moody Blues fan, and I think you did a great job here.
