The Lyrics

This one is for Peter Anderson's One Week Notice challenge (Week 42) this time hosted once again by me... Matthias!!! This one is also for the Amiright Reunion challenge!
Well, Someone told me yesterday
That there's grown men who love to play
With plastic horses, Brushing hair
They're hooked to that kid's show, They don't care!

There's Twilight Sparkle in their stash
Cute Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash
Think Applejack's a work of art
They prance and dance, Those stupid tarts!

Those bronies! Love ponies!
Not low-key! They're trophiiiiiies!
They're dopey and dorky!
So porkyyyyy! Love horsies!
They're beefy! And creepyyyyy!
So freaky! Skin's greasyyyyy!

On Youtube they'll scream till they're "Horse"
Those judgemental sneers are coarse
That "Friendship and Magic" revolts
"Pasture" prime when in this "Colt"

Come "Saddle Up" and take a seat
Pink equine are hard to beat!
That "Horse Power" has taken it's toll
Men "Hit the Hay" snuggled with foals

Those bronies! Love ponies!
Not joking! They're strokiiiiiing!
And poking! They're groping!
I'm Nope-iiiiiing and hoping
They're slowing! Down votiiiiiiing!
Line quoting then gloatiiiiiiing!

[Insturmental break as grown men play with their pastel ponies]

We're mocking! Those jockeys!
We're gawking! They're sloppyyyyyy!
They're snobby! Hair's knotty!
Mind's groggyyyyy!

Can't stand bronies! Who love ponies!
Horse "Bridle" is their hope!
They'll elope
Spend their dough, Cash is blown
Makes me groan, groan
When they moan, moan, moan
They're full grown, grown, grown
Spaced and zone, zone, zoned

Tweet on phone, phone, phones
'Bout this show, show, show
Stoned, Are they stoned?!
Buncha dopes
Love toon tropes
Can't stand these bronies!
Who all love ponies!
Can't stand these bronies, bronies, bronies, bro-
Bronies, Bro-
Nightmares of these oafs, Yeah

Those bronies! Love ponies!
Mouth foamiiiiiing! Hair combing!
We're loathing! Horse clothiiiiing!
We're roasting! They're boasting!
They're toastiiiiiiing! Wine's soaking!
Beer's flowing! Not goiiiiiiing!
Not joking! Pot smoking!
Stop goadiiiiiing and probing!
I'm poaching your poniiiiies!

Mine is based on the longer album version

Yeesh, you sure were determined not to repeat yourself here--that's a good thing, but it sometimes felt random, too. Still a 555 for that extra-concerted effort.

Album or single version, I don't care - it's simply amazing how many subs you've come up with for "so lonely"! Now go play with these three 5s.

So. many. horse. puns. You weren't foaling around with this one.
Peregrin - June 29, 2018 - Report this comment
Had to admit, I had ZERO idea of what a Bronie was, so Matty, I hope we are speaking from observational experience here. I see you covered your back in the opening line with "Someone told me". Well done, that'll fool them, LOL :) I got lost following the parody, but then I see your comments about the longer album version.

A BRONIE is a grown man obsessed with the little girl’s TV show “My Little Pony”

You will be happy to know your parody was clear enough that I picked up on that in the read :) The concept is a worry :)

I'm truly surprised that MP hasn't shown up to comment. Bronies used to be a hobby of his and frequent topic. You might also want to look up Pony Play!

@ Peregrin: I'm not trying to foal anyone here and there's no need to worry about Bronie health - they're all in stable condition!

Interesting combination here. I know far more of the ponies mentioned here than I like to admit, thanks to my daughter :)

Truly disturbing. I say neigh to this.... ;D

He does like to rattle on with his rhymes at the end does Sting, doesn’t he Matty. Don’t understand what a brony is but I do understand your aversion to bronies hooked on ponies. They only have one life FFS. They need to have a good hard look at themselves, and not at the ponies. 556

Especially the special kind of bronies known as cloppers.

As a Brony AND a Police fan, I approve!! :D :D I realize this is making fun of the concept of "Bronies", but I don't care. I have a pretty self deprecating sense of humor sometimes ;) :P
