The Lyrics

Actually, I have over a hundered parodies here, but some parodies accidentally got submitted twice, etc. I can't believe it...I know it seems small in comparison to all the "veteran" writers here, but when I first came to this site, I never expected to make it past 30!Thanks to everyone who voted, and commented. Thanks for making it all even more fun! ROCK ON!!!!
Was out writing on the web the other day
And the site was a place full of parodies
I checked my songlist and I came to a surprise
Seemed about, a hundred parodies

Scary, almost that I made it up past eight
Just writing on this place all night
What awsome ways, no songs were hid away
Seemed about, a hundred parodies

And all my friends are writing parodies
Sending to this site, and having fun
Dont'cha think, it's awfully fun, just to write stuff

Was out writing on the web the other day
Can't see the effort I put into this?
What awsome ways, no songs were hid away
Seemed about, a hundred parodies

Now if ya see me writin' some bad songs
Go ahead and rate me some straight ones
Dont'cha think, it's awfully fun, just to write stuff

I'm gonna write on and on and on, yeah I tell you
I'm gonna write on and on and on, yeah I tell you
I'm gonna write on and on and on, yeah, Lord I tell ya
And please excuse me while I write away...

All my parodies, aint got no rhyme, but what the hey?
Parodies, aint got no rhyme but what the hey?
Dont'cha think, it's awfully fun, just to write stuff
Yeah, ah, yeah...
I'm sorry if this parody wasn't that good. I'm just excited about how many I've written. So hope ya liked it ! Again, thanks to everyone here. Special thanks to those awsome authors who inspired my writing. This site is AWSOME!

The original is a really cool song from "Goats Head Soup", and it was cool to see a parody done of it. Excellent choice.

I agree with TGK - it is always nice to see an obscure Stones song parodied. The pacing was perfect.
