The Lyrics

Road kill again? That's the third time this week! ;-)

I'll never eat your feast of vermin
My palate's broad but it's discernin'
All I want is for you to stay road kill free

I'll never eat poor beast or varmint
I'll balk, it's vile, that's what I'm blurtin'
All I want is for you to stay road kill free

Is it charred enough
Is it stuffed enough
It's still road kill stuff
It's not too fine to me

I'll never eat your feast of vermin
So we drive home and hit a cur then
Road kill on the way, oh no
Come on babe, please let it be

Can't use lard enough
Can't be fluffed enough
Rather have real stuff
I must decline your meat

Ooh, vittles
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty gross

It's just pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty gross
Pretty pity such a chitty, gritty, make me hurl
Come on baby, fleas, sleaze, geez!
I smell ya

You can put it out, I won't eat
Put it out, I'll refuse all your meat
Don't put it out, put it out
I'll just go to Mickey D's, yeah

Cause for sickness, I'll just chuck it up
Throw it all up, I can't drug it off
Eat frog legs maybe, I'm no musk-rat fan
I keep on smelling deep-fried possum in the pan

And I must rebuff, ooo
Can't eat toads, too tough
And no pigeon puffs
Rigor rough, oo, oo, sleaze

I'll never eat your feast of vermin
I'll never eat poor beast or varmint
Never, never, never, never, never, never, never eat

I'll never eat your feast of vermin
I've balked, coon vile, no snakes I'm certain
All I want is for you to stay road kill free, yeah

I don't need no beast or vermin
I need no feathers, I need no squirrel
Never, never, never, never, never, never, never eat

Y'all come back now, ya hear?

3 5s from Chef Squash-em Jack at the Roadkill Cafe, on beautiful historic Route 66 in Seligman, AZ-- Home of the Bad-Brake Steak! ;)

Very good parody, and it reminds me of someone who hangs around my workplace a lot, who once bragged about eating skunks, gophers and nutria. (He said they were good, but considering that he is always dead drunk whenever I see him, he's probably exaggerating or being sarcastic.) 555

Timmy: Thanks, yeah I don't have Mickey D's too much, either but it fit. :-)

TJC: Mmm, giblets go well with roadkill, thanks!

TT: Ya, about that. Decided to switch out turtle for squirrel at the last minute. Didn't want you to think I was trying to run you down. ;-D

meta4: Pretty gross, but yeah, like a train wreck. Thanks.

FG, aka Chef Jack: Thanks for servin' up 5s. Be sure to try the Rigor Mortis Tortoise. ;-D

Andria: Thank you, you know some colorful characters, sounds like a lot of parody potential there. :-)

Thanks Ribber, I wondered how long it would take for someone to use that, and you did not disappoint. :-)
