Some stuff is busted, car falls apart
My clutch engaged, I turn ignition, but damn thing won’t start
I’m afraid this car’s met its end
Gotta chill, or just get angry, I’ll tend

My sniffs finds the wires to be burned
That hose pipe to rad-i-a-tor; well, it’s causing concern
In fact, it handles like bus
Now it’s stalled – it’s just a bucket of rust

Yet, though, I took it out for a whirl
I was delusional; thought I’d use to mate with some girl...
But it‘s never had a rustproof
Rainstorm tells me there’s a hole in the roof

“Oh Lord, let it start”: this I pray
I re-discover whether it will behave, every day
It aches, my heart, with disgust
It's a bucket of rust

To travel much distance
Needs roadside assistance
I don’t do burnouts
So I’ve not just thrashed it about

No times it’s not blowing a fuse
You can’t brake it, you can’t swerve it, it’s missing some screws
The cruise-control has gone ping!
And they’ll smog away all semblance of zing

The clutch is just a figment of mind
It's paint’s unbearable: it's taupe with a splatter of lime
Was dumb, I, for carb to adjust
‘Cause well in truth it’s just a bucket of rust

Be sure to repair stuff
This ride ain’t no cream puff
Careening along
As it rolls oxidation goes on

Dumb schmuck I must have been when it sold
The bolts all rattle; it a halt-and-go chaise of unroll
And now I fear tie-rod’s untied
There’s a sparking from the engine - oh my!

This heap is just a lie of transport
The cold hard truth: I need a man with a use for spare parts
Just pull hand- throttle: no thrust
