Parody Song Title:

"We Want Comments"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Gettin' some votes can be so neat
Getting' 5's just can't be beat
But there's 'nother thing that we desire
For some comments we aspire

We want comments, lots of comments

Need to know about how we're doin'
And where we can use improvin'
You're our guides - need to give your feedback
To ensure you don't let us get slack

We want comments, lots of comments

Comments givin' praise there's nothing nicer
Yeah we want comments just like Watt & the Ricer
Someday soon hope we're sublime
Then we'll have comments all the time

We want comments, lots of comments
Please give comments, where's those comments?

I guess you must be showing your age, guys: I was at school when the original came out :-)

It's just you Rice! :-D No, seriously, this one was hard to pace and I had to leave an extra syllable near the beginning somewhere...

I thought the pacing within limits, especially for a song with such a unique rhythm.

You're breaking my heart here, guys! LOL! I'm afraid I can never listen to this song again without thinking of "The Simpsons Variety Hour!!" But your pleading parody - not to mention shameless self-promotion - gets at least this much comment!!!

I agree with you, Stray Pooch. "The Simpsons ariety Hour" sucks donkey balls!!!!! I can't understand what has happened to "The Simpsons". They use to be really funny and they also use to be more creative with couch gags and famous sayings. "When I say "FIRST-AID", I'm not talking about some Charity Rock Concert". Ha! Ha!
