The Lyrics

Grandfather says Peter should not go and play.
Wolves in the meadow, though it's a beautiful day.
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
Peter walks ignoring his Grandfather's words,
And then he meets a duck, a cat, and a bird.
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo

Each things got a sound,
The bird's a flute, it just toots.
I like the sound, story unfolds now.
This is Peter and the Wolf.
This stroy's lined with music, no rhyme.
It's filled with fun and laughter, too.
Keeps you alive, each word and each line.
This is Peter and the Wolf.

Grandfather comes out saying, "Peter, come here."
You better stay here, cause those wolves are out there.
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
And then suddenly the wolf comes in sight.
He eats the duck, the darn thing's alive inside.
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo

Grandpa don't see him,
Then Peter hatches a good plan,
Make the wolf's tail bound, and now the wolf is airbound.
This is Peter and the Wolf.
Hunters come in time, the duck is still alive.
Wolf howls and he wines, he's in a zoo,
Keeps you alive, each word and each line.
This is Peter and the Wolf

Peter and the Wolf.
Peter and the Wolf.
Peter and the Wolf.

Wonderful sound, though grand it was loud.
The bird's a flute, it just toots
It's got a great sound, it's great all around,
This is Peter and the Wolf.
This stroy's lined with music, no rhyme.
It's filled with fun and laughter, too.
Keeps you alive, each word and each line
This is Peter and the Wolf.

I found this site a few weeks ago through this parody (very clever, by the way) while looking on Google for "Peter and the Wolf," since I'm a flutist and was about to perform the piece with orchestra. So my husband Rick and I thank you!

This one came up when I was hitting the random button. This was the one that Mari found the site with. So everything we've done here (350+ parodies) is your fault for writing this. (Or you can take the credit) Anyway, our thanks. What a long strange trip it's been.
