I enjoyed this JAB, a nice testament. "I’m rarin’ to be scrawlin’ or keyin’ in some jive" and "if it’s rank or it it’s mete, it’s brilliant or blight" I thought were a good insight!

You amiwriters don't know me, because I'm not talented enough to do what you do, so you never see songs or comments from me and I don't vote because I don't feel qualified to do so. But I thought I'd make an exception and take time out today to to tell you a few of my thoughts for whatever they're worth. I love this site! I love everything about it! I love reading the good songs and the bad ones. Sometimes I think the bad ones are more entertaining than the good ones. I love watching the drama unfold when the writers have differing opinions and clash with each other. It's like watching a good soap opera. I love looking up unfamiliar words, expressions and songs. I love it when writers try to sneak one past the censors and the censors let them get away with it. I love it when when a theme war breaks out and writers jump on the bandwagon and try to outdo each other by submitting as many variations on the theme as they can think up. I love it when contributors go to great lengths to defend their political opinions. That's almost as entertaining as watching real politicians go at it with each other. I love watching how writers react when they get lower than expected voting scores. I could go on and on, but I think I'll stop here. To whoever runs this site, I would say don't ever change a thing. This site is perfect just the way it is, warts and all!

Member, I'm guessing you're brand new here. What's been occurring the past week is unlike anything I've seen before in the nine months I've been hanging around. And I've never seen a personally directed sh*tstorm like the one that erupted on my own thread a few days ago. That was far from typical. But hey, this is probably an improvement on what was going on a few months ago, when the site seemed dead.
