Look at this cave, piled up with gold,
How many treasures can dwarf kingdoms hold?
Years ago I fought them off,
Now I own everything!

I've got golden cups, coins, crowns and jewels,
And the Arkenstone dwarf kings covet,
You want heapfuls of gold? I have plenty!
But who dares? No one does, for I'm strong!

My armor is stronger than tenfold shields,
My teeth are swords, my claws are spears!
No mortal creature can live through the heat of my breath!

I laid down the warriors of old,
And in this day there are none so bold,
I am King under the Mountain, and I am death!

Centuries pass, now you trespass, into my Lonely Mountain so old,
But no one shall take, from this fire-drake,
Part of my gold!

What do you mean,
You walk unseen, O Barrel-Rider?,
Who must I slay, so they can pay,
For breaking in?
You are no dwarf, I know their smell,
And their taste too, just as well,
You're from Laketown!
They shall burn down,
Right to the ground!

And I'm ready to go and wreak my revenge,
So watch their destruction, you puny wretch,
I am fire, and I am - what's that word?- death!
Now it's my turn, now's time to fly,
Soon all those worthless Lake-men will die,
