Story about this misheard lyric by: Cody Finke At first I thought this sounded like an Ace of Base song, given the same beat of the song as did their music (such as "The Sign"). I couldn't understand what she meant by this. |

"What's It Gonna Be?"
The Funny Lyrics: We've been kicking it for a while
Why They're Funny: Kicking what? A ball? Some other item? She doesn't specify what "it" is.

The Funny Lyrics: I can say anything crazy
I know you'll catch me right before I hit the ground Why They're Funny: It's not funny in and of itself, but the bit about saying anything crazy always makes me think of her 'chicken or fish' question. In case anyone doesn't know, she was eating some canned tuna and asked Nick, 'Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish?' The brand name Chicken of the Sea mixed her up. Nick stared at her and shook his head, then cleared things up for her fragile brain.

The Nonsensical Lyrics: I wanna love you forever
And this is all I'm asking of you 10,000 lifetimes together Is that so much for you to do? Why They're Nonsensical: Yes 10,000 lifetimes with you is way too much to do. Nobody can stand her screaming...er, singing, for more than five seconds.

"I Think I'm In Love"
The Insincere Lyrics: I don't know what's gotten into me,
but I kinda think I know what it is... I think I'm in love Why They're Insincere: What? These lyrics are simply retarded, because not only do they not make sense, but they are a complete contradiction to eachother. If you don't know what it is, then you don't also kinda think you know what it is! Think a little harder next time, Jessica, before you sing something so ignorant and typical. This girl has an amazing voice but if she wants to be taken seriously she needs to take herself seriously!

The Insincere Lyrics: I know, I meant to say no
But he's irresistible, up close and personal Why They're Insincere: What the hell?! first, she becomes famous for her stance on virginity, then she goes and writes a song about giving in and having sex? Also, she always had a wholesome image until recently, when she became as slutty at brittney- No one's going to believe she's a virgin anymore!

"Between You and I"
The Lyrics: Between you and I.
Why: The appropriate title of this song should be "Between You and Me." Between is a preposition and the words you and I are the object of the preposition. You can't use the the subjective pronoun "I" as the object of a preposition. You should use the objective pronoun "me." Duh! The writer of the song apparently didn't have Mr. Mann in 9th grade English or this person would've known better.
