The Lyrics

The devastation of the tornado that hit Harrisburg, Illinois is horrible, but most people survived the F4. That's the good news. But the tornado's aftermath is hard to deal with... 6 people killed and over 300 structures destroyed. My parody is NOT meant to be funny but to tell of the survivor POV...
I made it through this horrid mess
I’m beaten black & blue
Didn't know the cost it took
‘Til after it blew through

F4 speed made me bleed
It was bad, nightmare that came true
Wide, two football fields
Huge, seemed so unreal
Knew we were screwed

[Chorus]
I’m still hurtin’
Injured for the very first time
I’m still hurtin’
Wounds are real deep
But I’m alive

Don‘t know how we all survived- joy
Wind was blowin’ really fast
Thought we were all gonna die
We didn’t stand a chance

Felt the wrath in its path
Winds were strong, yeah they took their toll
Saw our town’s wiped out
Yeah, our town’s wiped out
Trailers and cars were rolled

I’m still hurtin’
Injured for the very first time
I’m still hurtin’
Wounds are real deep
But I’m alive

Oooh, Oooh, Nooo!

Felt the wrath in its path
And now here comes the aftermath
Wide, two football fields
Huge, seemed so unreal
But I still survived

I’m still hurtin’
Injured for the very first time
I’m still hurtin’
Wounds are real deep
But I’m alive

I’m still hurtin‘, ouch, ouch!
I’m still hurtin’
Damage is so far wide
Over my county, and it hurt me, and I’m bleeding

So, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so
So crazy
Sirens made my heart beat
But at least I survived…
F4 speed is approx. 175 mph winds!!!

I gave you a 5 for a good message rather than humor. I feel sorry for those poor people.

TY 2E... last year I took heavy flak about my parody of the Joplin Tornado which was an info-parody. I feel sorry for all that live in Tornado alleys and/or hit by the larger F-number tornados. During WW2 Dr. Zippermeyer built a small-scale working Turbulenzkanone (Whirlwind Cannon) using coal-dust explosives. It produced an artificial tornado but lacked altitude to take down bombers!!! File that along with the weird Wind and Sun Cannons built (the latter was a truck-mounted 4-mirror bomber blinding weapon)!!!
