The Lyrics
Kara Zor-El is infant Kal-El's cousin from Krypton who escaped the fiery destruction via rocket that was damaged by an asteroid, thus delaying her arrival on earth to help raise the infant boy. By the time she arrives as a teenager (16), Kal-El as Clark Kent is around 30 yrs old! He recognizes the Krypton costume and helps Kara tansition from an orphanage as Linda Lee to the Danvers family, becoming Linda Lee Danvers who attends Midvale HS. Superman helps her to control and develop her powers. She has his powers but also can manifest implanted sunstones from her body for defense against villains from the Phantom Zone. But she is vunerable to green Kryptonite as well.
