I’ve reached my sixth parody, and for this one I decided to take on Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” and change it into a song about school. Also, just for clarification, I’m not thirty-nine. I’m still in middle school. Hope you enjoy it!
I finally made it through math class

Not a bad parody here. It makes me smile (and feel pretty damned old) to reflect that I also started this habit/hobby back in middle school, and School as a parody concept has been a huge part of my works.
You're in WHERE?? ;-D ... My goodness, my YOUNGEST child left middle school in 2005! And you did a parody of "Piano Man"!! You're a prodigy. I was actually going to make a few criticisms about your pacing on that parody; it seems like you lost track of the OS (original song) just a little bit in the third stanza. But that's a very difficult song for anybody, let alone someone who's not yet a teenager. .......... But here's a suggestion: Now that you've wracked your brain on that song, go back to Billy Joel's page (blue link at the top: Original Performer) and see how some real masters did the same song. I'll give you three parodies that are really well done -- "Gilligan" by Matthias; "Ring Bearing Man" by Arwen (best female parodist ever, IMHO) and "Keanu Fan" by Rick Duncan

Thanks for sharing your opinions! I’m glad you like my parodies. However, like “Weird Al,” it wasn’t easy the first year he did it. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release more and more parodies every day, with each one being better than the first!
