I wish they had kept it as it should have been. Luke married the "Emperor's Hand" assassin Mara Jade who had been turned. THEY had a son named Ben. Meanwhile, Leia married Han and had the twins Jacen and Jaina Solo plus baby Anakin. In Eps VII & VIII Kylo and Rey should be brother and sister. J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy have really messed SW up with reimagining the basics. The Force was bloodlines and Sith Master/Apprentice. Now it's the Force chooses whom it will for balance purposes. And the politicizing of the space opera is a bumner. The new trilogy is NOT a real advancement. It is SJW heaven of top heavy neo feminism women bossing men around, minorities inserted like affirmative action, sexual suggestions about Lando and his robot (pansexualism Disney calls it), and more sick stuff like solving a battle problem with hyperjump suicide. What will kids be learning here? Will Episode IX feature transgender, fat Acceptance (body positivity), rape culture, No Go zones, etc... ??? I'm glad they will do a separate Boba Fett movie, but even the story of the Mandalores has been altered. They were space mercenaries, NOT clones! George Lucas has lost control of his SW universe. I've been a dedicated fan since May 25, 1977. This trilogy is disgraceful.

Btw, it might be interesting to note that Qi'Ra is Rey's mom by Han. She knows the ship, the Kessel run, and Han as a smuggler, not as a war hero. He also gives her parental like treatment and trusts her with his ship. Then there's the blaster gift to her. Think about it.

I heard Darth Atrius is confirmed for Ep.9. He has crossguard sabers as Kylo does, but more ancient.
