The Lyrics

This is another song parody of a song from “Like a Virgin.” This is also my first parody of a Madonna song about the Power Rangers. This reminds how the 2017 Power Rangers reboot brought me back to the classic Power Rangers I grew up with in the ‘90s. This also reminds me how I have been listening to Madonna religiously. In other words, this is like a crossover of two of my most favorite topics: Power Rangers & Madonna. This Power Ranger song parody is a view from Tommy Oliver, the Green/White Ranger.
Why are we fighting all around
When we leave high school grounds
And evilness just appears
We feel it coming near

We are Power Rangers
We all call the Zords to fight
Against the goons with our might
Before we are home tonight

Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
With the Zords
That can form the Megazord

Bulk and Skull try to catch our clues
And they try to put us on the TV news
And Alpha Five always shouts “Ay yi yi”
It’s terror in Angel Grove and that’s why

We are Power Rangers
Bulk and Skull will never know
We’re the Rangers on the go
Before the Earth starts to blow

Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Morphin time
And it doesn’t cost a dime

Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Here to fight
Gonna fight evil tonight

We’re the Rangers
We’re the Power Rangers
We’re the Rangers
We are Power Rangers

Zedd and Rita live on the moon
They all create the monstrous goons
We‘ll put an end to all violence
As long as we use great defense, because

Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
For the world
Saving every boy and girl

Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Ooh we’re the Rangers
Morphin time
Put an end to all the crimes

We’re the Rangers
We’re the Power Rangers
We’re the Rangers
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

There’s no need to fear

(Finally, Tommy announces, “There’s no need to fear. Power Rangers are here.”)
The statement that Tommy announces is similar to the statement the cartoon superhero dog, Underdog, always says, “There’s no need to fear. Underdog is here.” I will rewrite more Madonna songs about superheroes and villains: Marvel, DC, Ninja Turtles, and Power Rangers. Btw, Bulk and Skull will never know that Tommy Oliver and his friends are the Power Rangers.

Power Rangers are just a lousy imitation of those campy-cool Japanese B-grade thrillers.
