The Lyrics

The real shame about this one is that there are so many verses that could be added... I had to excise the ones from Gollum (We wants the Preciouss, yes we does), Sam (If Frodo's going, I will too), Legolas and Gimli (Ye canna trust those shifty elves) to fit the original.
Chorus:
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
In this Ringie Fellowship, under Sauron's curse
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
Aragorn and hobbits with no time to rehearse

Elrond:
We'll chuck it into Khazad-Dum
Khazad-Dum
Khazad-Dum
We'll chuck it into Khazad-Dum
Khazad-Dum, then

Boromir:
Let's take the Ring to Gondor
To Gondor
To Gondor
Let's take the Ring to Gondor
To Gondor, help the men!
(Elrond)

Chorus:
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
In this Ringie Fellowship, under Sauron's curse
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
Got as far as Rivendell, but things are looking worse

Frodo:
Oh, go on then, I'll take it
Take it
Take it
Oh, go on then, I'll take it
Throw it in the fire
(Boromir)
(Elrond)

Saruman:
I'll get it with my Uruk-hai
Uruk-hai
Uruk-hai
I'll get it with my Uruk-hai
Uruk-hai-de-hi
(Frodo)
(Boromir)
(Elrond)

Chorus:
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
In this Ringie Fellowship, under Sauron's curse
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
In the mines of Moria, just one bridge to traverse

Gandalf:
Balrog! You shall not pass,
Shall not pass
Shall not pass
Balrog! You shall not pass
Shall not pass.... oops!
(Saruman)
(Frodo)
(Boromir)
(Elrond)

Chorus:
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
In this Ringie Fellowship, under Sauron's curse
Ring questin' across all Middle Earth
Only going forward 'cause they can't find reverse

Well, I guess we get to see those extra verses on the DVD release later on then. Or you could always go for a triology. ;-)

YOU ARE HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a tip: scrub the limits and just throw in all of your extra verses as a post-comment! PS: II MUST get a recording of this song :).

This probably would be a fun one to record - rather like the original, I guess - but I don't really have the means to do it... anybody out there with a recording studio and lots of friends with strange voices?

Great parody to one of my favorite novelty songs. How appropriate that you would use one fantasy cult classic song to make parody about another cult classic. It fits in very well.
