The Lyrics

Why Would They Not Sue
(Parody of "With Or Without You" by U2)

In this world full of lies
Must be warned to save your hind
They'll come for you

At the drive through open late
Spill the coffee, they're irate
And can't wait to sue you

Why would they not sue?
Why would they not sue?

Broke in and was stuck for sure
You were gone so they waged war
You'll pay, with lawsuit

Why would they not sue?
Why would they not sue?
They can fib
Why would they not sue?

Somehow they get away
Somehow they get away
And they win
And they win
And they win the case today

Out for joy ride
All night cruised, right off a cliff
Had to much Gin yet
I can blame it on the shoes

Somehow they get away
Somehow they get away
And they win
And they win
And they win the case today

Why would they not sue?
Why would they not sue?
They can fib
Why would they not sue?

Why would they not sue?
Why would they not sue?
They can fib
Why would they not sue?

Why would they not sue?

555 for you. Going out on a limb perhaps on the 5 for pacing as I haven't heard TOS in a while, but what the hell ( and if I'm wrong other Amirighters can sue me LOL ). Definately funny, true, so 55 there as well. PS- Is that breaking into someones house and getting stuck artistic license or an actual case? I've heard of attempts of B&E where that happened, but haven't seen that one on World's Dumbest Criminals ( yet ).

Yeah its real. I guy broke into a families house and got locked in the garage. Turns out the family was on vacation so he was stuck in there for quite a long time (Dont know why just didn't break down the door). When they came back he sued 'em. Can't remember exactly what for.

I guess that guy wasn't a mastermind. He knew how to break in but not out. Guess we won't have to worry about an escape attempt from prison ( though he may sue them as well ).

555, excellent job, Dusty D.

From http://www.avolites.org.uk/jokes/stella.htm :

"Terrence Dickson of Bristol, Pennsylvania was leaving a house he had just finished robbing by way of the garage. He was not able to get the garage door to go up since the automatic door opener was malfunctioning. He couldn't re-enter the house because the door connecting the house and garage locked when he pulled it shut. The family was on vacation, and Mr. Dickson found himself locked in the garage for eight days. He subsisted on a case of Pepsi he found, and a large bag of dry dog food. He sued the homeowner's insurance claiming the situation caused him undue mental anguish. The jury agreed to the tune of $500,000. "

Also from http://www.avolites.org.uk/jokes/stella.htm :

"This year's favourite could easily be Mr. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mr. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32-foot Winnebago motor home. On his first trip home, having driven onto the freeway, he set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the drivers seat to go into the back and make himself a cup of coffee.

Not surprisingly, the R.V. left the freeway, crashed and overturned.

Mr. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising him in the owner's manual that he couldn't actually do this.

The jury awarded him $1,750,000 plus a new motor home. The company actually changed their manuals on the basis of this suit, just in case there were any other complete morons buying their recreation vehicles."

Very good job, Dusty D, of poking fun at our litigious society. And very good job, Johnny D, of doing the research to give us excellent examples of incredible juries and why insurance companies charge high premiums.

That was just great. I love those stupid people and their stupid lawsuits. It's so much fun. Also my favorite U2 song there so you win :). Good job
