Recently Jack L. Chalker passed away, and I did feel a loss of a great author and wonderful man. I sort of wanted to pay a bit of a tribute to that man. I hope this song does not sound too corny, but it does come from the heart. I have been a fan of Chalker's works for many years, and I hope that if the spirit does live on, that he might be smiling when I post this tonight.I know that this is not a funny song, so I will understand if I get ones from people.

Have to admit that I'm not familiar with Chalker, but this was a nice tribute song.

Great, now I need to add another author to my reading list. Although I'm not familiar with Chalker, and I only somewhat remember the Celine Dion song, your lyrics are so well crafted I'm assuming the pacing is spot on.

Thank you Jeff and Rex for your wonderful words. I more or less felt the best I was going to get was the one fellow who gave me threes and no comment. I never expected to get fives with this song. It was created for the purpose of expressing my feelings about Chalker and his books.
