The Lyrics

How it really was
Everytime I see my wife go by, I can smell the odours that never die
One honeymoon, then we were doomed
I took the plain, as far as plains can go, oooh yeah
I can recall the worst years with my wife

I just don't want to play our memories again
I regret the years of cleaning, what a pain
Clean up the floor! Then do some more!
If I refuse, I get kicked right out the door
I couldn't risk, a second world war
Those were the times, the worst years with my wife

Bring on the storm
I'll make it through
but don't expect me to
keep loving you
right to the end
I'll leave you again!

You've given me the worst years of my life
I wanna sue you
I wanna sue you
You've given me the worst years of my life
I wanna sue you
for the long years as my wife

Thought I knew most of D. Ross's songs, but don't know this one. Would prefer variation instead of repetition at the end, even if the original repeats - standard advice to new writers here - more opportunity to display your creativity and give us more laughs. Don't see how this deserved a 222 though (bitter divorceé?), so here's a 555 to compensate.
