Zephyrs blow and clouds are racing,
Thread unwinds, the kids are chasing.
Out in the park, the day is bright,
My kite takes off into the flight.

And I feel like I can fly my kite,
Sweeping through the air so light.
In the blue, it takes its flight,
Climbing up, oh what a sight!

Ribbons dance, they twist and flutter,
On the breeze, soft words we utter.
The sky's embrace, oh so tight,
As my kite ascends, a colorful kite.

Faster than the running children,
Looping round, no pattern certain.
Colors blare in broad daylight,
Spinning through this airy height.

And I feel... I'm in the sway of my kite's flight,
Gliding with the birds in flight.
Through the clouds, it's pure delight,
My heart's aglow, it's full of light.

Like a comet tail, it soars on high,
A dance of joy against the sky.
In the breeze, it feels just right,
My spirit's lifted, fly my kite.
