"Owl, Feline, Lear Bit"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Boat on waves runs; brings two friends
A tug of hueish pea-green wends
Seas darkly calm and far from shore
All know a poem of Lear, Edward

Owl oh, owl oh , owl oh, you know
Fellow, fellow, fellow, he’s so
A beau, a beau, a beau , on l’eau
Owl oh, owl oh, owl oh

With guitar now, seranades puss
Says she are now pulchritud’ous
A fowl cupid under stars must
With guitar now entertain puss

Took some honey, and some money
Wrapped in fiver - kinda funny

She purrs at such elegance
His charming ditties seal her bliss
We’ll steer this sloop to matrimon’
Connubial we’ll not forfend

Meow, meow, meow, I vow
With thou, with thou, with thou in scow
Avow, avow, avow my troth
Meow, meow, meow

(Her) Skiff at night, will it endanger us?
(Him) Here we are, so have a little trust
(Her) I feel you are not abstentious
(Him) Think this getting acrimonious!

We must marry, no more tarry
What! no ring now, do we carry?

“Yes, I’ll commit” she ‘plied with haste
Owl, he impressed, yeah, she’s beguiled
For shilling she gave heart and mind
Owl? Well, I guess that love is blind!

We go, we go, we go anno
To isle, to isle, bongo trees grow
Hog-o, hog-o, ring, oh – forego!
Sell-o, sell-o, sell-o

Have some mince now it's so mangeous
And some quince now will sustain us
A real spoon it’s so curvaceous
For our chow how it will aid us

We do rhumba, or a samba
In the moonlight, on the sanda
All conjugal (X9)

Very clever combination parody. I love the choruses. I wonder how many of these words were in Kurt Cobain's vocabulary? Dunno, about rhyming 'must' and 'puss' though, unless you're Liverpudlian, Mancurian or otherwise Lancastrian.

Funny! I suggest Krut knew A, I, and & the. Hazy on the rest

In regard to your other obersavtion: Or Scottish! The Proclaimers singing 'Oh Jean':

"But even with girls up the back o' yer bus, there was always a risk o' yer slap in the puss" (pronounced 'pus').

The rock star and the psycho b1tch went to sea, in a grungy dysfunctional boat. In a permanent funk, they shot plenty of junk, all wrapped up in a suicide note.
