The Lyrics

No offense to anyone French, but I thought it would be funny to write a song that incorporates a few stereotypes about the French. By the way, "spiv" is a British slang word for a conman.
So you want to
Visit Anjou?
I could tell you it's a pain
For a place that's changed its name

When they're watching you
After they have said hello
In Francais, they're saying things
That would hurt like hornet stings

When in France
Gypsies will steal and hide your things

And when you ask for some translation
They laugh at you and cause frustration
And as you feel your spirits crashin'
They keep with pace in their fashion

When in France (You might get mugged with a knife)
Gypsies will steal and hide your things (From crooks they don't extradite)
(Higher prices every way)
(Room and board so hard to pay)

When in France (Rudeness is their way to live)
Gypsies will steal and hide your things (Unless you're conned by a spiv)
(Such a stressful form of life)
(Watch them when they're with your wife)

If I could tell all the Gauls
Of how their smells accumulate
I'd sell them cans
Of hygiene products thay they might appreciate
Though it's always spoken
"France is the land of love"
Hell, if I was oceans away
I'd still be sayin'

"They were on drugs" [4x]

While at the loo
They might mug you
They don't care how long you stay
So long as that you will pay

When in Normandy
They like to be left alone
Though we helped them during strife
They will greet you with a scythe (You might get mugged with a knife)
(From crooks they don't extradite)

When in France (Higher prices every way)
Gypsies will steal and hide your things (Room and board so hard to pay)
(Rudeness is their way to live)
(Unless you're conned by a spiv)

When in France (Such a stressful form of life)
Gypsies will steal and hide your things (Watch them when they're with your wife)
(Higher prices every way)
(Room and board so hard to pay)

When in France (Rudeness is their way to live)
Gypsies will steal and hide your things (Unless you're conned by a spiv)
(You might get mugged with a knife)
(From crooks they don't extradite)

When in France... (Higher prices every way)
(Room and board so hard to pay)
(Rudeness is their way to live)
(Unless you're conned by a spiv)

DKTOS but trust ya here the pacing is on. I've never been to France but have been to Montreal, some of this is true from what I saw.
