"Drag"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Guitar lessons + insane teenagers = drag queen parody of wonderful song.
Strobe light,
night club
You stop in for a daiquiri on the house.
You don't drink,
and the color
doesn't even match your dress.

Dressed up
like a drag queen.
The heels are making your bunions hurt.

You say they don't hurt you,
you lie.
Because your high heel shoes
make you wanna die.
Oh why...
Won't you wear tennis shoes?

Midnight,
you're plastered.
You stumble
out of the empty night club.
Your heel breaks,
your tights rip.
Your mascara starts to run.

You used to party
with all your buddies.
You would dress up
and rock out every night.

And when I go out, they can't see
the person inside that's truly me
And when they do, they want to kill me...

When I'm in drag... then the men won't give me up...
Drag... and I wear a D-cup...
Drag... and I cannot get knocked up!

2 o'clock,
standin'
on the corner
of 3rd street and main.
In a pink
feather boa.
and lots of
junk jewelry.
Bracelets to anklets, a collection of Mardi Gra beads.

And if you pay me I don't think
you'll even notice the slight rank
caused by too many male hormones....

When I'm in drag... then the men won't give me up...
Drag... and I wear a D-cup...
Drag... male genitles can be found...
Drag... with this cool dress I found...
DRAG! And I cannot get knocked up!

O-o-oohhhhhhh
O-o-oohhhhhhh
O-o-oohhhhhhh
O-o-oohhhhhhh

7 in the morning,
in the bathroom,
while there's no one around.
Hear the retching
of the drag queen
as his dinner flops to the ground.
Hear the squish
and the splatter
as his dinner hits the ground!
(splat)
Hope we offended no one.... All in good fun... Happy joys, peace on earth. No offence to U2, we love you!

Good job Angela & Anna. 5 stars. I have just added a new Shania Twain parody to the Shania Twain section that I think you would enjoy. There is even a link to a sample of the original song. Any comments or votes would be graciously appreciated. This is a parody of "Whose Bed Has Your Boots Been Under?" and although it says written by "Twain/Lange", it was ofcourse written by me.
