The Lyrics

I channel disillusioned Obama voters who expected that by now Guantanamo would be closed, our troops would be home, solar panels and wind turbines would replace fossil fuels, the economy would be booming despite new taxes on the rich who had not been jailed, all workers would forgo new entitlements, have jobs to avoid foreclosures on their escalating real estate, and have medical insurance including controversial procedures from A to Z (e.g., addadictomies, axadicfrommies . . . examexicos . . . tonswillelectomies . . . zipafatummies). By 2017, these voters would be sentimental about The One who had transformed America. Unfortunately, the sentiment in my parody of this OS is being felt already.
A Crossover Conservative

Things you say and do
Just chill me bluer blue.
I'm getting set to vent all over you.

A Loyal Liberal

Things you said you'd do
Just tell me you've no clue.
I'm getting sent to mental institu.

Both

I thought you'd be snappy;
I could live with big gov.
Now I cuss and spit;
What the hell was I thinking of?

Won't you please rewind
Your thrust? Wake up, remind,
Or you'll be beat in Twenty-
Twelve, sent out with glee.
Because you spent and lent, bill's overdue.

I thought I'd be happy;
I'd large live like your mob.
Now I just don't fit;
Government does a stinking job.

Won't you please be spined
And just shake up your kind?
Else you'll retreat, be sent to
The pen'tentiary,
Because you went and bent all Constitu.

I have a no-tion that troops will be in Afghanistan at least until they can tell, even if not asked.
