"Please Don't Talk About Me Like a Dawg"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

In a speech in Cleveland OH on September 7, the US President complained that "some folks back in Washington" don't like him. "They talk about me like a dawg," he drawled, and said they obstruct all of his policies. CHFUDNKTOS.
Please don't talk about me like a dawg,
Those right-wing foes, unfriendly pieces on each blog;
And, listen, if you can't say anything but "No,"
It's better not to talk at all, and let me crow.

We're parting; you go right and I'll go left.
What else can we do?
Here's a hiss! I hope that this
Heaps lots of muck on you.

Raking George Bush now, I carry on. I'm diff'rent.
Please don't talk about me when I'm gone.
I had to leave the last line of TOS, in hopes for the 2012 election.

That's what you get for calling yourself a mutt!

BJM - Good old song, fine new take. "If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog" - Harry S. Truman. ;D

Doesn't he realize that *most* folks *outside* of Washington don't like him, according to continually-dropping poll ratings?

Thanks, all. I've been lazy lately, doing short songs, feeling inferior to you writers of tomes.
Mongrel: I suspect you're hiding true identity, chose this moniker to fit your comment.
OMR: I broke your "Thursday night deadline" by dashing this off between 6:45 and 7:30 AM EDT today, not at my best.
JB: Your bite is often sharper than 15 barks; what, no rebutting critique? ;=)
TT: Instead of "folks," he said "powerful interests who dominated the agenda for a long time." But you're right, he's near-sighted.

I echo all comments above. Those people must be 'dogging' about that president! Hmmm.... Well, take some 555's...dawg! LOL!!
