Parody Song Title:

"Dance and Miss My Marks"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Dance and miss my mark, then her shoes bend.
I dance and miss my mark, rend my new friend.
I’m guessing: She must wonder why she is here.
Hurt in her eyes is clear; I’m looking wan.

Hope that she won’t bite me for shoe thuds
or fight with me tonight; she’s a blue blood.
Those folks aren’t known for such behavior.
Bashing boys who mar
is not their mold,
or so I’m told.

It turns out: That is bunk...
a black and blue shine
on this face of mine.
Smeared blood mingles with teared blood.
Then…gives me a smite after a shove…
felt like a piece of iron in a glove.
Needless to say: We don’t leave together.
Bashed me, and I smart!
