The Lyrics

There was a very scary bum within the sanitarium
They say he butchered twenty-three, devoured, never buried 'em
Brave souls who have the nerve to ask, find out his name is Hannibal
A hockey mask upon his face and muzzled like an animal..

They lock him in a special cell with strong thick glass and guarding cops
He isn't very talkative, just sulks around and licks his chops
The guards unlock a sliding drawer to slide in food for him to eat
They feed him mostly vegetables, though he keeps asking for raw meat

They feed him mostly vegetables, though he keeps asking for raw meat,
They feed him mostly vegetables, though he keeps asking for raw meat,
They feed him mostly vegetables, though he keeps asking, begging for raw meat

The film they make about his life is called, "The Silence Of The Lambs"
In it, an FBI cadet is Jodie Foster with great gams
She's sent to sketch a psycholog, to interview and query some
This weird and very scary bum within the sanitarium..

She's sent to sketch a psycholog, to interview and query some
This weird and very scary bum within the sanitarium

Seems Hannibal's a doctor too, a real gone bad psychiatrist
He becomes quite contemptuous to learn she's on the training list
When first intimidation fails, a stare down evil scheme he tries
She plays it cool and doesn't flinch an inch beyond his piercing eyes

They form a strange relationship, a sort of beauty and the beast
He tells her graphic victim tales, like eating livers for a feast
Observing analytical, she hopes, somehow, her efforts will
Find clues and aid in capturing a killer named, "Buffalo Bill"

Find clues and aid in capturing a killer named, "Buffalo Bill"
Find clues and aid in capturing a killer named, "Buffalo Bill"
Find clues and aid in capturing a serial killer named "Buffalo Bill"

The daughter of a senator, the still-loose killer "Bill" has snatched
It's Jodie's job to save her life, with Lecter, devil's deal is hatched
For tips on how to capture "Bill"..Intimate questions, she must face
And in return, he's to obtain a transfer to a better place..

For tips on how to capture "Bill"...intimate questions, she must face
And in return, he's to obtain a transfer to a better place..

Unknown to Jodie, move's a scam that was concocted by her boss
Lecter is moved, not to a farm...but Memphis is the double-cross
While at this new facility, escape is planned by Hannibal
He makes a break and kills two guards, again becomes a cannibal

When Jodie learns of his escape, she says, he won't come after me
We must find "Bill" and save the girl, the clue he gave, 'Simplicity'
The FBI learns Bill's true name..race to the home they think he's gone
While Jodie's seeking other leads, the killer's place she stumbles on

While Jodie's seeking other leads, the killer's place she stumbles on
While Jodie's seeking other leads, the killer's place she stumbles on
While Jodie's seeking other leads, the killer's place she luck'ly stumbles on..

Amid some horrid harrowing scenes, she saves the girl and shoots the beast
From FBI, she graduates with high honor to say the least
She heads back home where she receives..surprise long distance phone call from
Lecter at-large, the scary bum...still free from sanitarium

He says, hope we won't meet again..but those we had, enjoyed a bunch
I really have to hang up now, I'm having someone in for lunch..

Great encapsulation from start to finish.

5s for a nicely ccmplete rendering of the story, and a fun sing-along despite the pronunciational torquing it occasionally requires.

Farce - THIS IS OVER THE TOP SIR! Are you going to get me started with the "lambs" as Alvin did with Psycho. One thing though - I've seen all the Hannnibal films. I especially loved the ending. It is so fitting. Best of the day sir. Some real "Brain Salad Surgery" here. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Thanks to John, and Stan, ( I realize you do have to stretch some accents, especially, "Buffalo Bill"), and thanks, alvin, LLC, IB, ah yes, wine not?..and PMS, good pun, and Guy...yes, I guess I may have stirred up the lambs to where they'll no longer be silent
