Original Song Title:

"Putting' on the Ritz"

Original Performer:

Irving Berlin

Parody Song Title:

"Putin Ordered Hits"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

His meddling is never through;
that’s what he’s programmed to do.
He can’t win a fight that’s fair,
so he’s never on the square.

To Taliban in squalor
he offered lots of dollars.
If they’d spend some time
committing, for him, crime.

What they must do
is go out there and kill a few.
A direct command; that was it.
Putin ordered hits.

This went beyond rigging the vote:
Go out and cut some soldiers’ throats
with a slit.
Putin ordered hits.

He would pay a bounty for each trouper
they could kill; meanwhile, he’s still a snooper,
Facebook grouper.

Orders from the Kremlin: “Fellas,
with dough, you’re better than fellahs…
cash in mitts!”
Putin ordered hits.

Effectively, he asks, “Who’s your daddy?”
In unison, they all answer, “Vladdie!”
Swaggy-happy.

The news breaks, and it is shocking,
but, so far, no sanction blocking
for this sh!t:
Putin’s ordered hits
