The Lyrics

Gee! What I wouldn't give to see
That old bang of mine!
I can't forget..
That old ho, yet
She was my first, so fine..(my first,.....so fine)

Charged me ten dollars,
The rate then, for gals
I loved her hollers,
We became good pals, ( I....miss....her)

Gee! Wish I had ten bucks to see
That old bang of mine!

Jeez! What I wouldn't give to squeeze
That old bang of mine!
I still recall
How she kicked the wall..
She looked like Kevin Kline...(Like Kev....vin Kline)

Homely, but willing
She'd try anything..
Last time I heard
She was tried..stole a ring, (I...want....her)

Blonde! Guess I'll go and pay her bond.
That old bang...
She loved "-Tang"
And my wang..
That old bang of mine!

That....old....bang....of....miiiiine.

Farce - you got me on this one. I had to consult Youtube to get a listen to the OS. To my amazement there is a dinosaur victrola playing a 78RPM record entitled "That Old Gang of Mine" by Billy Murray & Ed Smalle. The year of the recording? 1923.

I bet you remember live radio shows. Oh, I'm somewhat cultured in radio drama of the 30's & 40's. When I lived in Japan a few decades ago we had English radio but no English TV. I worked the swing shift for awhile and each night they would devote several hours to the old radio shows like Fibber McGee, Ma & Pa Kettle, Amos & Andy, "The Shadow" and lots more. Oh yeah - I liked the parody even more when I caught a listen to the OS. You know that you are a dirty dog, but you are a really funny & talented dirty dog. You sir are the undisputed king of really old oldies. Well done! I don't know what the documented oldest OS that a parody was done to on this site, but you are in the running. You are beyond the dusty old archives. This gives a whole new meaning to gang bangin;.

Thanks, Guy...I wasn't quite around yet, in nineteen twenty three, but yeah, it's an old barbershop quartet chestnut...and thanks for diggin' up a link...About those old radio shows, sure...I grew up listening to most of those you mention...the golden years of radio..great times..loved Fibber, Baby Snooks, and later on in the war years, Jack Benny, Edgar B. and Charlie M. etc. etc....funny pun on gangbang..
