The Lyrics

Some misplanted seedlings
Sprout in awful places,
Mama Maple spaces
Her offspring randomly
And so, you must hoe..
Abort them, and then
Each new spring you'll find them
Again and again..

Those misplanted seedlings
Proudly volunteering,
By a nook, or clearing
From tiny blossoms bloom
Drift down with a breeze..
If you don't keep after,
They'll soon be big trees..

Nature explains it,
Helicopters fly
Tools of the season
You must then apply..

Some misplanted seedlings
Have tough "Stay Alive" ways
Near sidewalks and driveways
But destiny is doom..
So, make sure they've died,
Each perked little clone
Or in a few years, you'll
Regret...where they've grown..

Yes, in a few years, you'll
Regret...where they've grown..

That is about the parkway trees the city of Burbank planted - the kind that go to seed and come up everywhere else.

alvin and John Barry are on the right track, but AFW, ya missed the chance of a lifetime! Superb title switch indeed, but think what ya coulda' done making this a story of the Octomom ! Looking forward to that follow-up, and 555 for what was still a great switch on what seems to be a popular song here lately.

Thanks, LCC...You mentioned the Pacific Coast Highway, I've been in love with that snaky road, since way back. When they'd use it as the scenic locale and backdrop for many of the classic black and white crime and detective flicks of the Thirties, Forties, and Fifties; Driving it's winding, rolling, cliffside splendor is like being cast in one of the old films, yourself. Of course, ya' gotta' brush out the color. In the early Nineties, my Ex and I tripped to California to enjoy those legendary landmarks; The Walk of Fame, Hollywood and Vine, The Hollywood sign, etc. Being there was unreal; like blending fantasy and reality.. You're so lucky to reside in that area, and have it all right in your own backyard.
