Parody Song Title:

"The Months of Hell Are Through"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

The months of hell are through.
Election time
is gone; we can bid it “adieu.”
Both were lyin’. . .
had me a-cryin’.
She tried buyin’…
ended up cryin'.
Is he vyin’
for Ghenghis-tryin’?

Was a choice of bandits,
each runnin’ the mouth.
I can’t understand it:
how things could have gone so, so far south.
’ least months of hell are through
for a short time,
SHORT time.

Now they’re through,
bid “adieu,”
until you
become blue
When the sound
begins to blare,
then, very shortly,
comes the next round.

So really—
the months of hell aren’t through…
on all the time!!

JAB,we share a few things in common, even both living in California, a Blue State. But I'm a REP and you're a DEM. I won't hold it against you for the parody- 555 days recovery!

Sir John,

You are the bard's bard. Been a while. I thought that you gave up on this "spell"ing bee. Guinness should be made aware that you hold the record for the most parodies written to this OS. Good to see you out here. Great word smithing in this parody which is your™ hands down. Keep on writing and hold onto that top slot. I'm getting that itch to write again. Seeing you here today is inspiring me to scratch that itch or not...

High fives on this write.

Thank you both. Rob, I'm a progressive independent. Guy, come back. You are one of the best who's ever been here.

Sir JAB-a-lot,

I have been posting comments to feel out the persona of the site and I was just waiting for someone to invite me back. Thanks, I'm likely going to be posting parodies again in early 2017.

Some commenters who use anonymity have been trying to bait me into flame and rant sessions. I have been called a troll twice by unknown commenter(s). They can just knock it off whenever they get tired of me ignoring this ugliness. I will not dignify these rude remarks by taking the bait and responding. IMO the very definition of troll is someone who hurls insults hiding behind their computer and has not the guts to identify themselves.

You made my day with your invite sir and I will be most honored to write on the site with you.

I'll be back after the fat lady sings what follows on New Years Eve:

There was a man, his name was Lang,
and he had a neon sign.
'cause Mr. Lang was very old,
They called it old Lang's sign.

Go back to lurking, clown.

I know the feeling. The whole process is brutal. I'm a centrist Independent who went for Hillary, so the end result was disappointing after all that. 5's
