The Lyrics

Rollin, rollin, rollin
Rollin, rollin, rollin
Rollin, rollin, rollin
Rollin, rollin, rollin

Rollin, rollin, rollin,
Feels like you've been bowlin'
Down your forehead's rollin
Flop Sweat!

On stage amateur night
Standing in the spotlight
Your jokes are dynamite,
And yet...
Feels like you're Islamic
Or Bush on "Economic"
'Cuz you're a stand-up comic
All wet..

Got a boo, not a laugh
Neck stuck out, like giraffe
Ready for hook and staff
Flop Sweat!

Not a smile, not a grin
Blow a line, try again
Dig a hole, jump on in
Flop Sweat!

Keep movin' movin' movin'
Tho' they're disapprovin'
Wipe the brow that's groovin'
Flop Sweat!

Your collar has a tight squeeze
Jokes die like they're sprayed fleas
Try Henny's "Take my wife, please..do"
Wing another zinger
Next one may be the ringer
Those dead pans like bee stingers,
Stingin' you....

Get a boo, not a laugh
Neck stuck out, like giraffe
Watch for long hook and staff ?
Flop Sweat!

Not a smile, not a grin
Blow a line, try again
Dig a hole, jump on in
Flop Sweat!

Uhhh...

Hearin' boos, not a laugh
Neck stuck out, like giraffe
Here it comes, hook and staff
Flop Sweat!

Not a smile, not a grin
That line died, try again
Dug the hole, that you're in

Whooaaa...

Rollin, rollin, rollin,
Rollin, rollin, rollin
Ohhh....
Rollin, rollin, rollin
Rollin, rollin, rollin
Whew!
Flop Sweat!
Yeah, Flop Sweat!

Love it. And tho' I rarely watched the show, I gotta perversely love the OS. Story time. My school at the time (1959) held quarterly 6th 7th grade dances at which square dancing--which we all pretended to hate, but secretly enjoyed--was the fare. As the final dance my 7th grade year was also a graduation affair sending us off to a year in the brand new Jr. High school, the big treat was to getting to dance to 1-count'em-1 rock & roll number, teacher-selected, of course. You'll probably have guessed -- and rightly -- by now what the teachers chose as our "rock & roll" dance number. Yep. "Rawhide." Pretty effing lame, even for elementary school teachers. :-)

Sir "L'Air deWolf Farce", crazy about this Cowboy ~OS~. great choice and great parody, too. I don't know how the comics get their nerves of steel . . .

Anyone here from Google? Hears a few mouse clicks near the back of the internet. Seriously I just flew in from over the cuckoo's nest and is my mind tired. Nice and original Farce. Five guys were sittin' in a bar, a teacher, a barber, a priest, a farmer... And the farmer said to the chicken - not with my wife you don't.
