Song Parodies -> "Vito Mosquito"

Original Song Title:

"The Yellow Rose Of Texas"

Original Performer:

Traditional

Parody Song Title:

"Vito Mosquito"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

He was called Vito Mosquito
And he bossed the insect mob
His gangs controlled the garden
The pinch bugs done their job
While spiders hijacked fruit flies
For grapes to bootleg wine,
Slugs ran protection rackets
Their threats kept ants in line

He had crickets steal bee honey
They'd rob each hive they could
Sneak in and mug the workers
And beat 'em up real good..
You've all heard the tales of Al Capone
And John Gotti's downfall
But, the bug Vito Mosquito
Was the meanest crook of all

He was tough, Vito Mosquito
He bullied and attacked
When beetles got caught snitchin'
Big Vito had 'em whacked
He was known as The Sodfather
Only flew on private crows..
He wined and dined cute Ladybugs
And prostituted hoes

The Untouchabugs were summoned
Led by Eliot Wasp,
Who rallied his crime fighters
And used his force of task.
Launched a large sting operation, and
Wiped the garden gang out flat
Then, set up Vito Mosquito..
And got Sammy Gnat to rat

They set up Vito Mosquito
And got Sammy Gnat to rat..

Thanks to Matthias, alvin, and TT...

AFW, I know that this is totally off the topic, but I want you to know that there are two Andrias on AiR's parody-author list. One wrote a parody of a Destiny's Child song and a parody of a Shakira song and has not posted since 2003, and the other just wrote a very popular parody of "Chevy Van" by Sammy Kershaw, has a 5-year-old female white collie, owns a singlewide trailer and an orange-and-black 1974 Mazda Rotary Engine pickup, has long curly red hair, has a crush on AFW despite not knowing his real name and who writes many comments for him. Sorry for being long-winded, Airfarcewon, but I had to inform you. 555

Thank you Andria,...interesting, but confusing...you say there are two..yet you speak of each, as if your not one of them...so, are there actually three, including you?...if not, which one are you?.....and thanks, MrMac, and PMS

Absolutely hilarious AFW, The Vito Mosquito. . .sounds like one mean vampire like bug.
Andria - October 10, 2007 - Report this comment
AFW, there are only two. I am the one with the collie, the Mazda Rotary truck, the singlewide trailer, who has long curly red hair and has a crush on you. I hate Destiny's Child and Shakira, those parodies have poor grammar, and I discovered AiR in 2006, so I could never have written those parodies. Type in "Andria" under the Parody Artist category on the parody search, and compare the three parodies. XOXOXO

Thanks, Dave....and OK, Andria..I think I got it straight, now...except for one thing..does the other Andria also have red hair?
Andria - October 11, 2007 - Report this comment
No, the other Andria does not have red hair... at least I don't think that she does. I have never seen her, but judging from her choices in slang terms in her two parodies (which she did not approve comments for, which I would never do), I believe that she is a teenage girl with too much time on her hands and atrocious spelling skills. I, on the other hand, have red hair, am 27 years old, approve comments on my parodies, parodize good songs and can spell. AFW, did you look at the three parodies?
AFW - October 11, 2007 - Report this comment
Yes, I read the parodies...so, two were written by her, and one by you...you live in a single wide mobile home, (in South dakota?) You drive the Mazda PU...you are the one who commented in the "She Loves Andrew Jackson" parody, have flaming red hair,(which, I sincerely hope you extinguished in time) are 27 years old, 5'7" tall, and weigh l55 lbs... ...Whew! (This is beginning to sound like the plot for a new soap opera..) I think I got it, at last, except for one thing...Whatever became of the 88 Yugo, you previously mentioned?
Andria - October 11, 2007 - Report this comment
AFW, the Yugo's headgasket blew, it was getting rusty and it had no bumpers, so I sold it to the junkyard. What's more, all the windows leaked, and its heater either worked too well or not at all. So, my dad sold me his truck, and the rest is history. No, I didn't extinguish my hair. (It is in a braid as I write this.)
