Parody Song Title:

"Into The Liver And Through The Blad"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Into the liver and out the blad
Old Grandaddy's whiskey flows
Two jugs every day will put us away
And blush us like a rose..

Into the liver and out the blad
Glass after glass is hurled
It makes us numb and keeps us from
The big worries of the world

Into the liver and out the blad
Men are born for porn and corn
Such is their worth and task on earth
As sure as sheep are shorn

Into the liver and out the blad
Can slice a deadly path
Cirrhosis just might turn up some night
But, such is a drinker's wrath

Such is a drinker's wrath

Sir, such indeed is the Drunkard's Path to oblivion! . . but I can excuse it, with all the financial, cultural & Spiritual deficiencies we have thrust upon the USA.

I thought that this parody would be a funny one, but when the word "cirrhosis", as in cirrhosis of the liver, a life-threatening liver disorder caused by heavy alcohol consumption, was brought up, I decided to vote "1" for how funny but "5" for everything else because my cousin died of cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 39 in 2006 thanks to drinking Jack Daniels as if it were water for 6 years straight. I was responsible for caring for him during the last 3 months of his life.

Thanks, alvin, Stan and LCC....and Andria...The last stanza was not meant to be funny... I don't feel that I've mentioned the disease in any disrespectful manner..but, in more of a moral manner...Sorry to hear of your cousin, I, too, have known those who've succumbed to this condition...

Ah, the spirits of Christmas, they are all around. Some people wine a lot at Christmas. Others just have shots to prepare for the holidays.

Old Grand-Dad is a good brand of whiskey, and this parody ain't too bad either, to say the least. Although I was a little bit saddened by Andria's comment. 5-5-5.
